These sore tendinopathies often cause pain after a sudden injury or after months of over use.

The pain is often characterised by pain on bring the wrist up and gripping on the outside of the elbow (tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis), or pain on the inside of the elbow (golfers elbow or medial epicondylitis). Most of the time no surgery is required, and physiotherapy, dry needling, braces or clasps and occasional PRP injections settle almost all cases given enough time.
